The location was gorgeous, right next to the ruins of an old abbey and offering various hikes from the front door. The restaurant and pub had a really good breakfast. The peaceful ambiance created a relaxing stay. I was offered a room with pleasant views of the riverside. The food was lovely and the staff were courteous and polite.

the breakfasts were sensational with vegetarian sausages and shop bought bread for toast, couldn’t ask for anything better. the bed was extremely comfy and there were central heating, iron and ironing board, and television.

The staff here are fantastic - they are attentive, cheerful, and provide excellent service with friendly personalities.

I had a nice, spacious room that had a window you could open. From that window, I could see a ruined abbey. There were also showers available 💦.
